Slicing A Whole Smoked Turkey

turkeySlice1.gif (2267 bytes)1.   Place turkey with legs to your right, hold drumstick with fingers.  Then cut the joint that joins the leg to the backbone removing the leg.

turkeySlice2.gif (1677 bytes)         2.  Make a deep cut into the breast parallel to and as close to the wing as possible.                                   

turkeySlice3.gif (2024 bytes)         3.  Starting halfway up the breast, thinly slice down to the cut made at the wing, continue slicing in like manner.
